1. Night Lava Tour Without Hiking Activity.

This view looks northeast towards Mount Merapi, located southwest of Mount Merapi, on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta. The positioned approximately 8km south of the volcano, offering a close-up view of its activity. The tour that we will do is very safe. We will sit and observe Merapi from a traditional cafe located 8 km from the top of Merapi Volcano. In that place, CCTV observation of Merapi Volcano is installed for monitoring the activity of Merapi volcano. The place has easy access because it is on the side of the road that can be passed by cars, located at a height, on the edge of the highest village in the Yogyakarta side. We will inform to you the weather conditions and live CCTV footage to determine what time you want to start the tour. You will be given the opportunity to continue, change the pick-up time, or cancel the tour one hours before the scheduled time.

🔴This tour will be very different because you will observe the Merapi lava from the top of a hills that the view will be wider.

🔴 The advantage of this tour is: because you are in a high place (1000 m) you will have a greater chance of seeing Merapi clearly because the observation position will be higher than the cloud fog.

🔴 It takes 1 hour to climb the hill (Turgo). Make sure you bring enough water.

🔴 If our driver is in good condition, he will accompany you all night, but this is not mandatory.

This hill rises approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, This view looks northeast towards Mount Merapi, located southwest of Mount Merapi, on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta. The positioned approximately 8km south of the volcano, offering a close-up view of its activity, making it a perfect day hike and descent. There are several other reasons why this hill is ideal for climbing.
Tourists don't need to navigate a difficult path to climb this hill. Steps have even been provided to make climbing easier. Although not particularly high, this hill offers beautiful natural views. Furthermore, Mount Merapi can be seen from here. Besides being a popular climber, this hill is also frequently visited by Muslims on pilgrimages to the monument of Sheikh Jumadil Kubro. While the story of the monument atop the hill remains unconfirmed, many believe it. Furthermore, the story of Sheikh Jumadil Kubro is also not well known. However, many believe that Sheikh Jumadil Kubro was the ancestor of the saints who spread Islamic teachings in Java.
